According to official statistics, the most serious emission were from vehicles. Moreover, the major pollution from diesel vehicle was the main sources of contaminants which affect air quality. To control diesel engine vehicles and reduce the amount of air pollution in local, Environmental protection bureau of Hualien county had approved the plan of diesel engine mobile test since 2014. The plan is to promote the regulations of any diesel vehicle related programs, roadside random inspection, and quality testament for diesel gas. The plan is coordinating between different bureaus, and promoting the plan to the local citizens in order to successfully improve the air quality in Hualien.
